Along the Nile River
Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival - Cairo
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, our representative will welcome you at the airport and assist with the immigration formalities and check-out from the airport.
Transfer to the hotel.
Overnight in Cairo.
Day 2: Cairo (B)
After breakfast, we will head to the Giza area to visit the Great Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx.
Continue to visit Sakkara and Djoser Pyramids.
Transfer to the hotel.
Overnight in Cairo.
Day 3: Cairo (B)
After breakfast, we will head to visit the Egyptian Museum.
Continue to visit the Civilization Museum.
Transfer to the hotel.
Overnight in Cairo.
Day 4: Cairo – Aswan (31st of July – Wednesday) (B/L/D)
After early breakfast, check-out from the hotel and transfer to Cairo Airport to board domestic flight towards Aswan.
Upon arrival in Aswan, our representative will welcome you.
Visit the High Dam, then head to visit the Philae temple, crossing the Nile River in a motor boat.
Transfer to the Nile cruise for check-in.
Enjoy lunch, dinner and overnight onboard Nile cruise.
Day 5: Aswan – Abu Simbel – Kom Ombo (B/L/D)
At approximately 04:00 am, we will head towards Abu Simbel city to visit the marvelous Abu Simbel temple.
Transfer back to the Nile cruise and sail towards Kom Ombo city.
Visit Kom Ombo temple.
Enjoy lunch, dinner and overnight onboard Nile cruise.
Day 6: Edfu – Luxor (B/L/D)
Upon arrival in Edfu, we will visit Edfu temple.
Sail towards Luxor city; visit Luxor & Karnak temples.
Enjoy lunch, dinner, and overnight onboard Nile cruise.
Day 7: Luxor – Cairo (B)
After breakfast, we will check-out from the Nile cruise and head to visit the Valley of the Kings and the West Bank Monuments (Colossi of Memnon and Hatshepsut temple).
Transfer to Luxor Airport to board domestic flight towards Cairo Airport.
Upon arrival in Cairo, we will transfer to the hotel for check-in.
Overnight in Cairo.
Day 8: Cairo – Alexandria - Cairo (B)
After early breakfast, we will transfer to Alexandria city for a full day tour visiting the Catacombs of Kom Al Shoqafa,
Roman Amphitheater, Pompey’s pillar, and the Library of Alexandria.
Transfer back to Cairo.
Overnight in Cairo.
Day 9: Cairo (B)
After breakfast, we will head for a full day tour in Cairo visiting the Citadel of Saladin. Continue to visit Old Cairo and shop at the Khan El Khalili Bazaars. Transfer back to the hotel. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 10: Cairo - Departure
After breakfast, we will check-out from the hotel and transfer to Cairo International Airport to board departure flight.
